Book Club Read: Jitterbug Perfume

Just a quick note to say hi and thank you for all your messages re: my last post on wedding stuff. All your advice, emailed or commented via Substack, has been so helpful, and I’ve written them down on little index cards to keep with me through the process.

I also wanted to offer an invitation to paid subscribers to join me and the Perfumed Pages co-hort in a reading club for the month! The crew and I had coincidentally been reading this alongside each other anyway so we decided to formalize it, and frankly, the more the merrier - this book is so unhinged, we’ll have a lot to talk about. And I’d be happy to invite paid subscribers into the Zoom Room at the end of the month to chat about it. We will be meeting August 24th, a Saturday, for an hour via Zoom.

We can read our favorite passages, question Tom Robbins’ weird…..decisions, discuss the impact of this book in the fragrance space (it’s quite influential?) and talk shop about writing. :)
